We are proud of our history
The Coffee Doc, a family owned business, has been operated by the McCullough family since 1957. The first McCullough bakery was opened on the site of the now Larne Library, Pound Street. Moving to Waterloo Road in the 1970’s and then finally to its current site at Lower Cross Street in 1984. The original first floor bakery and its equipment is still used today!
- Freak Shake’s! Our impressive kids favourite comes in 3 flavours; skittles, oreo and unicorn theme.. Mullins ice cream milkshake topped with cake and all things sweet!
- Order a hot drink at The Doc and be pleasantly surprised by a custard cream or gluten free oatmeal biscuit on the side!
- Our home made Banoffees are a top seller!!
- We stock Mullins ice cream and our sundae menu is a hit all year round!
- ‘Prescription for a better day’… our medical theme throughout the décor and our offering makes for a unique eating experience. Our collection of historical medical equipment can be seen in our cabinets. Kid’s eyes light up when their meal is served in a first aid box! Milk can be found in medical bottles… and expect a syringe filled with BBQ sauce on the side of your burger.
- We are recognised by the Conscious Cup Campaign for our efforts in recycling.
